Building a Pitts 12

Once I started building my Pitts 12 I began to notice them everywhere. Just as when you buy a new car you suddenly realize how many people seem to have a similar taste in transportation.

I jump on every opportunity available to look inside the cockpit, discuss building projects and more importantly ride and experience first hand the power of the Pitts. Here are a few photos of the machines I have had a chance to caress and experience first hand since my building journey began.

Pitts 12 Serial no 54 is being rebuilt in Florida after a run-in with Hurricane Sandy. Coming off of 7 months experience on my own Pitts 12 upper/lower wing work I jumped at the chance to help as much as I can with hands-on labor.
